2 Experiment Method

2.1 Subjects and Tools

The subjects were three restorers for East Asian paintings and calligraphy each with a different amount of experience. Subject information is shown in Table 1. The subject with 19 years of experience is referred to as the expert, the subject with 7 years of experience as non-expert 1, and the subject with zero years of experience as non-expert 2. The tools used are the glue brush and lifting stick. The glue brush is used in step 1 and step 2. In step 1, it is used to apply glue to the mino paper. In step 2, it is used to remove glue from the mino paper. The lifting stick is used in step 3 to glue the mino paper that has been affixed to the main paper to the lifting stick and lift it up.Table 1.Subject information.
